Breaking Free from the Buffet
Our current education system is like being forced to eat at a mediocre all-you-can-eat buffet where everyone gets the same bland options, served in the same dreary way, day in and day out. It's time to call bullshit on this outdated approach and embrace what education should really look like: a glorious pick 'n' mix where learners and parents can select exactly what works for them. It's a la carte or nothing, baby!
Some of us are old enough to remember Woolworths, where you'd grab a paper bag and fill it with whatever delicious combinations took your fancy. That's the future of education we're talking about. A future where the government money allocated for each child doesn't automatically funnel into the same rigid system, but instead becomes a genuine investment that families can direct toward the learning experiences that actually make sense for their kids.
